My name is Daniela Sofía Casalino and I am designer, illustrator, and aspiring architect. I graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in Architecture as the recipient of the Portfolio Design Award for the Class of 2019. My aim is to design sustainable, accessible, and equitable spaces for living and learning.
I was born in Lima and never stopped moving, growing up in Seattle, Sydney, and Istanbul. I am inspired by the relationships between politics and public spaces, religion and architecture, and fine art and the landscape.
I am a lifelong drawer of buildings, faces, food, plants, and anything else that will stay still long enough for me to capture it in my sketchbook. I recently illustrated two picture books which are being pitched for publication.
In addition to my work as a designer and artist, I also love travelling, writing, reading, hiking, yoga, rock climbing, and veganizing all my favorite foods.
I am available for commissions and collaborations. If you need a graphic designer, layout artist, Adobe wizard, or illustrator, please drop me a line!
